Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is an ionic surfactant and come in a solid dry (noodle or needle) form. This solid, dry (noodle or needle) form of SLS can be simply added to bath bombs or dry bath salt mixes to create BUBBLES. can be made from petroleum oil (via the OXO process) or from coconut or palm oil (via the Ziegler process). In both processes, fatty acids are extracted and converted to fatty alcohols, then sulfonated to become a crystalline salt.

For household use, it can be found in dishwashing liquids, carpet cleaners, toilet cleaning products, tub and tile cleaners, stain and odor removers, all-purpose cleaners, laundry detergents, shower cleaners, glass cleaners, and more. In terms of car cleaning, you may find it in car washes and upholstery cleaners.
